Founded in 2021, MDE’s leadership team represents a well-honed mix of innovative scientific, research and development, business strategy, and legal experience. With scientific innovation driven by Chief Science Officer Michael Kenney’s Ph.D. thesis at Stanford, the company has developed a provisionally patented hydrogen fuel production at its greenest and most cost-effective, to provide for commercial global energy needs.

OUR SOLUTION

Our unique patent-pending process directly converts seawater into hydrogen gas without the costly desalination phase, enhancing both its environmental and financial appeal.

 

This ultra-efficient methodology combines innovative catalyst technologies to mitigate water impurities, with a unique system to reduce the electricity demands of electrolysis significantly. The resultant hydrogen is naturally pressurized at the deep-sea level, where the entire process takes place.

In short, everything is used, and no pollutants are released.

Based on previous experimentation of MDE’s anode and cathode technologies – along with an extensive list of additional system, technology, and application efficiencies included in the electrolyzer system design – energy consumption of our electrolyzer will be the lowest in the market ... with no CO2 emitted.
